Welcome to Stanford
Join us for a 90-minute welcome via a live Zoom session (on your first day or within your first week). Sessions are held every Monday at 10:30 am (PST). Hear a welcome message from our leaders, get an overview of our culture, organization, history, and core values, learn more about our community and available services, and get some tips to help you get started. You’ll meet others in breakout rooms during this fast-paced session.
Look for your email (from ‘welcome-to-stanford@stanford.edu’), which will include the Zoom link to your virtual Welcome to Stanford session.
Benefits Overview for New Hires
A 60-minute live Zoom session offered every Tuesday at 11:00 am (PST). Learn more about the health and life benefits available to you. Remember, you must enroll within 31 days of your start date. Get general questions answered. The Zoom link will be provided in your welcome email (from ‘welcome-to-stanford@stanford.edu’).

Retirement Plan Overview
Get details about all the retirement savings options available to you in this session, offered monthly. Some retirement savings plans are available immediately upon hire and others take effect at your first service anniversary; includes info about the Stanford Contributory Retirement Plan (SCRP). You'll get an overview of the options and be directed to online resources to help you plan and save for retirement. Download the presentation in advance.

Got questions? Request a live session in your first week so you can ask any questions you have about general onboarding steps. The session is optional and the discussion is focused on what questions you have about key actions, next steps, or other aspects of joining our community.
